Joy's German Potato Salad

3 cup diced cooked potatoes
4 slices bacon
1 onion, diced
1/4 cup vinegar
2 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp parsley

Chop bacon and fry
Brown onion in fat
Add vinegar, water, sugar, salt and pepper.
Allow to boil
Add to potatoes and parsley
Serve warm. 
If too runny, thicken with a little flour/water mixture.
